Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | This paper describes the characterization of low-power wind turbines, with the aim of providing electricity to isolated houses from the mains in the parish García Moreno, Canton Pelileo. To this end, the wind potential study site was determined and also investigated current trends in building these machines applicable to rural areas. The energy needs of a typical house of the place was also evaluated. With this information the necessary parameters for the design of wind turbine technology using materials and Ecuador was obtained. The research also addressed the economic, social and environmental impacts that could result in the implementation of this project. It is concluded that it is possible to wind turbines in Ecuador at relatively low and the benefits of any commercial machine cost. |
