| Summary: | This work is focused on implementing experimental modules through the efficient selection of materials and instruments; the primary purpose is to provide a mechanism to acquire knowledge of fluid mechanics issues. The materials, calculation procedures and methodologies used for the construction and implementation are based on a series of processes, which are predetermined for the construction and experimentation with the didactic modules. The application of the didactic modules will allow determining losses of load in pipes and characteristic curves of whirlwind pumps, the first module will be built with a gear pump and several accessories of galvanized steel to work at high pressures and viscous fluid; on the other hand, the second module uses water as fluid, two pumps in series and parallel will be connected to observe the behavior of the fluid, for its construction PVC pipe will be used. This will allow the researcher to carry out practices and compare the theoretical results with the experimental ones and check the different theories. |
