Caracterización socio económica y productiva de la parroquia rural Mulaló del cantón Latacunga, provincia de Cotopaxi 2022

The present research work was carried out in the rural parish of Mulaló, located in the canton of Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi, emphasizing the social, economic-services and productive-organizational characteristics. The sector where the project was developed has been mainly affected by the scarce knowledge of the dynamics of life and production of the inhabitants of the parish, where the main objective was to characterize these conditions, for which a survey was used, established in social, economic and productive indicators, obtaining the following results: in the social characterization it was possible to verify that there is an adult population, in the great majority women and of mestizo self-identification on the other hand, as for the economic characterization and services information was collected where the main source of income is from the own business focused on agricultural activities, In addition, in the organizational productive characterization, it was found that since Mulaló parish is a rural area, the population has an area for agricultural production where they grow crops and raise animals for sale, where they are engaged in milk production, but in a lower percentage compared to the established sample. By means of the determination of the characteristics, several elements that condition the needs of the inhabitants will be located and thus they will be able to take management in the problems found, by establishing programs or projects that change this situation.
