El proyecto de investigación se llevó a cabo en el Campus CEASA parroquia Eloy Alfaro, Cantón Latacunga, 2021. Los objetivos de este estudio fueron: Describir el desarrollo de las variedades en estudio a través de tiempo fisiológico desde la floración hasta la cosecha y determinar las unidades térmicas en las variedades de Lupino en sus fases fenológicas desde floración hasta la cosecha. Los indicadores morfológicos evaluados fueron: altura de planta, longitud de botón floral, diámetro de botón floral, porcentaje de floración, rendimiento en grano verde y seco mediante eso se obtuvo los siguientes últimos datos para altura INIAP-450 Andino 162.23 y INIAP 451-Guaranguito 159.91, longitud de botón floral INIAP-450 Andino 25.09 y INIAP 451-Guaranguito 21.88, diámetro de botón floral INIAP-450 Andino 51.11 y INIAP 451-Guaranguito 53.36, porcentaje de floración INIAP-450 Andino 15% y INIAP 451-Guaranguito 5%, rendimiento en grano verde INIAP-450 Andino peso con vaina 255,48, peso sin vaina 101,24, numero de vainas 52,51 y INIAP 451-Guaranguito peso con vaina 349,95, peso sin vaina 60.3, numero de vainas 62,61 y rendimiento en grano seco INIAP-450 Andino peso con vaina 97,61, peso sin vaina 59,19, numero de vaina 57,68 y INIAP 451-Guaranguito peso con vaina 120,05, peso sin vaina 60,3, numero de vainas 58,3. Se realizó la toma de datos desde el día 109 después de la siembra, hasta llegar al día 180-200, la altura de planta y otros datos se tomó desde el día 109, para el para el rendimiento se tomó los datos en 116 días y rendimiento en grano seco se tomó los datos en 190 para Guaranguito y 200 para andino.
