Identidad cultural y su influencia en el desarrollo turístico del barrio Isinche, cantón Pujilí.

The research work poses and analyzes the cultural identity and its impact on the touristic development of Isinche neighborhood in Pujilí canton, province of Cotopaxi. It aims at boosting tourism in this place through the rescue and reappreciation of Isinche culture since this research proposes to recover the cultural representations from the neighborhood and show them to visitors so that they are taken as a source of social development. This dissertation makes use of a descriptive methodology as well as audio diagnosis to make easier data compilation through interviews in the leadership from Isinche neighborhood. Results demonstrate the importance to highlight and keep cultural representations and expressions so inhabitants become aware of the significance to have a culture and disseminate it through tourism. That is why the consideration of elaborating cultural strategies was taken and directed to all the neighborhood zones as they will contribute significantly to the cultural pride of this place so that once culture rescue is achieved, many culture oriented touristic activities can be done because nowadays cultural tourism provides an area with boost, strength, and dynamism so it becomes a key engine of socio economical development of a place.
