| Résumé: | Objective of this research is to determine working conditions and work satisfaction of administrative staff of Technical University of Cotopaxi (UTC). In order to achieve it , a quantitative, descriptive and deductive methodology was used for the analysis of research variables and their effects on study population. The used instruments to measure working conditions and work satisfaction have a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.803 and 0.808 respectively, which indicates that both instruments have a high reliability. These instruments were applied to 135 workers (administrative) obtaining 70 responses, which represents a participation of 83% of the population. The results of the instruments showed that working conditions wich affecti satisfaction among UTC administrative staff are remuneration, physical conditions, labor risks, personal relationships, recognition and appraisal; after obtaining these results, the following strategies are proposed: implement a monthly remuneration system, develop a non-monetary recognition plan, implement a training program on occupational hazards, implement safety and accident prevention measures at work, establish a regular feedback system on work performance, improve physical conditions of work environment, provide resources and support to reduce work pressure by 15%, recognition policy. |
