Resumo:The researching was an evaluation of the index of fuel consumption in the vehicles and its incidence in the efficiency of the motorized park to Santo Domingo Municipality in the year 2015. It was analyzed the state of the automotive park used for the diverse works, it permits to establish the necessary classification and description of it for the viability of the investigation. During the diagnosis and the study of the historical data, describe the fuel consumption by the route corresponding to each vehicle of the car park, where it was determined the existence of altered data that do not obey the control limits of the efficient operation of the vehicles, Which may be associated with the data collection process, storage errors or fuel control irregularities. The third chapter established the scientific-technical principles for the design of a computer tool for the prediction of fuel consumption and vehicle travel, which is an element of control and planning of the automotive fleet and help assumption of decisions for the execution of the maintenance. With the development of this program is intended to implement a computer system, on the development environment of Math Lab, which allows the prediction and the contrast of fuel consumption and the travel of the automotive fleet in the study, improving management, use and administration of the resources. In the fourth chapter, we can determine that neuron webs represent an excellent alternative as a prediction method for behaviors established by a set of data that characterize the occurrence of an event where were developed different tests of verification and contrast and the error of the prediction did not exceed the 1.8%, which evidences the representability of the RNA response to the fuel consumption and the route realized by the vehicle.
