“Recursos digitales para la enseñanza – aprendizaje en la asignatura de estudios sociales”

Contemporary Education and the way of teaching, in general, represent a challenge in the educational system of our country for both teachers and students. Therefore, in order to deal with these changes, it is required to start from the training and permanent education of teachers in topics denoting ICTs. These will lead to the development of better educational practices and technological skills; in the design of digital educational resources and materials that facilitate the development of teaching-learning activities, particularly in social studies. Consequently, the inexperience in the use of ICT's in the teaching and learning process is due to the lack of interest in permanent training in teachers, thus causing the teacher to continue using the blackboard and the school book as the only didactic resource, which limits their performance, both of the teacher and the student in the classroom. Met with what has been proposed so far, the researchers formulate the objective of designing a digital educational teaching guide, supported by the different technological tools, to improve the pedagogical process in social studies. Faced with the above, the researchers formulate the objective of designing a digital teaching guide, supported by the different technological tools, to improve the pedagogical process of social studies. The research was developed based on the qualitative approach because it describes, reflects, and interprets the reality within the educational context about the use of different digital resources within the pedagogical process. The investigation was supported by research methods and techniques, such as interviews and documentary analysis, which helped in this investigative process. The research allowed us to determine that the institution has its limitations, related to the sufficient technological resources and equipment in the classrooms, we can add that the teachers have little permanent training in developing new didactic methodologies and topics related to ICTs for implementing different digital educational resources within the teaching-learning process. Finally, the research will contribute through a digital educational teaching guide for the application of the different digital educational resources, which will foster the improvement of the teaching and learning process of social studies, supported by interactive videos, games, online presentations, animations, and audio, which will significantly improve students' motivation, collaborative work, and active participation in the educational process.
