סיכום:The present research work referred to the difficulties that children face in reading and writing regarding the diagnosis of graphomotor development in preschool children. The study aimed to determine the graphomotor skills in the development of reading and writing among preschool children in the Angamarca parish of the Pujilí canton in the year 2023. The research utilized a qualitative approach along with bibliographic and descriptive field research. The techniques used for data collection included interviews and observation sheets, which were applied to teachers and children (preschool to first grade of preparatory school) from different educational institutions in the Angamarca parish. The purpose was to assess their understanding of graphomotor skills and the level of progress in children's reading and writing. In conclusion, it is necessary for teachers to possess knowledge of pedagogical strategies to assist children in enhancing their reading and writing skills, thereby providing a tool to evaluate children's graphomotor development and their areas of weakness.
