Incidencia de patologías reproductivas en vacas lecheras en las parroquias de Saquisilí en el periodo 2023.

In the Cotopaxi province, in the Saquisilí canton and in the Chantilín parish, the knowledge lack about the different reproductive diseases, which affect dairy cattle is a problem for the parish, since it affects the large and small producers economy. That is why, it was made a study, which involves scientific observation, carry the use of diverse methods, such as the samples selection to represent the animal conditions, the body condition assessment and the reproductive pathologies analysis for identifying the most common diseases, which they affect livestock. Through this study, which has been performed in the parish, it benefit large and small producers, since they are indicated that it is necessary to keep a livestock record, such as deworming, vaccinations, pathologies, which they have had in their lives, providing information to improve the animals living conditions and establish different protocols on existing diseases. The main aim this research is to identify the main reproductive pathologies in dairy cattle from Chantilín parish, this contributes to establish the most frequent diseases in this sector, by helping to have a better diagnosis. It was valued 54 animals in production this parish, they were assessed the animals by gynecological checkups, palpation, physical examination and body condition for establishing the animals health conditions, but also through visualization, it was made facilities inspections, where they live dairy cattle, this allows establishing some association with respect to the diseases suffered by livestock. With the help examinations performed on cattle, they were identified the pathologies, which most predominate this sector, such as: they are atretic ovaries, low body condition, leptospirosis, mastitis, false heat and nutritional anestrus, what gives an idea, which is affecting to animals this community and with this data, they will been established protocols, which help producers distinguishing what pathology is possibly occurring based on the got data. It was measured the association these data, using p-valium for recognizing if there is any pattern with respect to data collection and which could affect milk production, what it establish is a problem for the
