“Modernizar el manejo de procesos mediante la implementación de un sistema de gestión, control y seguimiento de los proyectos que ejecuta la Funhabit”

FUNHABIT is a Non-Governmental Organization that seeks to strengthen the capacities of the less favored groups of the urban and rural areas in the construction of housing and the management of appropriate construction systems, supports the development of sustainable agricultural production projects. The projects mentioned were carried out manually and registered in Excel files and other formats by the facilitators who work in the foundation with information on the families of the projects, income, and expenses as well as evaluations of the progress of the same, for this reason, it became necessary and imperative to develop and implement a computer system for information management, For the development of the system, the agile XP (Extreme Programming) methodology was adopted, as well as free software development tools such as Java Server Faces with Primefaces, PostgreSQL as a database engine, Glassfish as a manager, and JasperSoft Studio for the elaboration of reports. At the end of this research work, an improvement in the data registry was achieved as well as the results in improved reports, a better performance of the personnel, and a reduction of the time of information registry, a better organization of the data among others.
