| Итог: | The present work allowed to strengthen the reading comprehension of the children of the sublevel of initial education II of the Belisario Quevedo Educational Unit through the benefits of the story as a methodological strategy of teaching-learning, In addition, it fostered creative development, expressing emotions and feelings when identifying with the characters of the story and is an excellent resource to instill a love for prereading from the early years. On the other hand, it relied on field and bibliographic research with a qualitative and quantitative approach, with which information was collected that allowed the existing problem to be closely identified. For the data collection, the survey technique was used for the teachers and the observation sheet for the children. In this way, I determined an analysis that led to verifying that there was little reading comprehension of the children in initial education. Finally, a way was found to strengthen reading comprehension through the benefits of the story as a methodological strategy, considering that this is a strategy of greater importance that motivates the attention of children through a variety of stories such as shadow theater, storytelling puppets, apron it tells stories, it tells stories the same ones that were made with didactic material, recycled materials among others that allowed the attention and understanding of the children of the Belisario Quevedo educational unit |
