| description | This research took place in Los Nevados neighborhood in Latacunga canton with 99 domestic dogs as a sample. The objective of this research consisted in the positive and negative Leptospirosis checking cases. So, that in the clinical assessment it took into account the sex, old and race of the dogs. To the diagnostic it used a fast test looking if each of the wells is valid or invalid to its analysis. After checking, it put in each test a drop of blood mixed with 3 drops of Assay buffer. The results were taken in a period about 10 to 15 minutes showing negative results. Therefore, it was determined that there is a 0% of new cases in the study zone indicated results versus the immunization of the animals. Finally, it analyzed that the kit does not need a technical management, then it uses easly. |

Finally, it analyzed that the kit does not need a technical management, then it uses easly.La presente investigación, se realizó en la Ciudadela Los Nevados del Cantón Latacunga, con la toma de muestras de 99 perros domésticos. El objetivo del trabajo consistió en la verificación de casos positivos o negativos a Leptospirosis. Por lo cual en la valoración clínica se tomó en cuenta el sexo, edad, raza. Para su diagnóstico se usó un test rápido, observando si cada uno de los pocillos son válidos e inválidos para su análisis, posterior a la verificación se colocó en cada test 1 gota de sangre entera, con la adición de 3 gotas de Assay buffer, los resultados se obtuvieron en un periodo de 10 a 15 minutos, mostrando resultados negativos. Por consiguiente se determinó que existe el 0% de casos nuevos en la zona de estudio indicando resultados frente a la inmunización de los animales.
