Shrnutí:Solar flat plate collectors for water heating technology are low yield, 60% maximum, the use of inappropriate materials or poor quality have been the cause for the country not used to the fullest this technology, taking in a count the geographical location that Ecuador is in a prime area for solar energy projects. The change of the working fluid by air led to the appearance of solar air collectors flat plate, improve the performance of these systems, by utilizing design variants of plates discontinuous roofing generated by the binding of geometric figures constructed in translucent material, is the purpose of present investigation work. The subject is new, has the peculiarity that its cost is not high, because it is constructed with thin glass plates or glass bottles, they have not been used in the absorber plate special metal alloys, high heat capacity and low emission of shortwave radiation and the use of crystals of special physical properties such as antiglare in the cover plate.
