Description
Résumé:The Reproductive efficiency is fundamental and determining the profitability of dairy farms. However, low rates of fertility of cows with respect to geography (altitude) have affected the reproductive performance of dairy herds. This research was conducted at an altitude of 3300 m, with the objective of determining the pregnancy rate and serum progesterone levels through the application of GnRH exogenous artificial insemination. For the experiment 20 female animals of the third race birth Holstein Friesian were selected, they were randomly divided into a control group (T4) and three groups (T1, T2 and T3). The animals were subjected to a TAI protocol and inseminated. Synthetic analogue of GnRH (Conceptal®) was used in each treatment the 4th, 8th and 12th day except for the control group; Blood samples were taken by puncture of the coccygeal vein to 7th day post application of GnRH and analyzed by the test of Radio Immuno Analysis (RIA) on a dry basis; pregnancy diagnosis was made and 30 days post insemination using ultrasonography....
