Резюме:This work is based on the development of a program to reduce electrical power and energy losses in the distribution system. The main objective is the application of genetic algorithms for the optimal location of capacitors in the radial type primary distribution feeder to reduce voltage drops and energy losses, with the methodology of genetic algorithms we were determined the optimal location of capacitors in the primary distribution networks and thus improve the voltage profile in the system. From the movement, which is made up of active and reactive power in the bars or nodes of the network, we determine how much reactive power should be injected to reduce voltage drops and obtain an optimal location of the capacitors. A program was developed with a genetic algorithm capable of finding the appropriate reactive power capacitor at different nodes of the system, to obtain voltage results at each node with and without reactive compensation, which go hand in hand with a simulation in DIgSILENT to verify these results.
