| Summary: | Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), became more important during COVID-19, when the entire population entered into lockdown they required technological equipment and other ICT to communicate and interact. This research work was developed in the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Credito Sumak Kawsay in the province of Cotopaxi; it aims to know the ICT used during the pandemic, to develop work activities. The objective was to analyze the effect of ICT on the administrative staff in time of COVID-19 in the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Credito Sumak Kawsay in the period 2020-2023. For the development of the research, the methodology used was a quantitative approach with descriptive research for the collection of data we used the survey technique and as an instrument the questionnaire consisting of 14 questions. This questionnaire was applied virtually to 30 collaborators that make up the Sumak Kawsay, both in the headquarters located in the city of Latacunga and in their respective branches: Pujilí, Pucayacu, and La Maná. Based on the findings, it is evident that the cooperative experienced some difficulties with information handling and communication technologies (ICT) when developing its operations because of a lack of training and knowledge and use of the tools, which prevented it from achieving its goals. The current analysis suggests training on the advantages of the ODOO information system as a technique to address this issue and enable maintenance of the teleworking system needed by the company |
