Итог:Bioplastic is a material that benefits the conservation of ecosystems and promotes sustainable development, reduces plastic waste pollution and promotes environmental care. The objective of this research project is to develop a natural biopolymer based on sugarcane bagasse (Saccharum officinarum) and green plantain starch (Musa paradisiaca), which replaces conventional disposable and single-use plastic (Tecnopor) that pollutes water, soil and air. Different concentrations of sugarcane bagasse and green plantain starch from industrial waste were applied. Additives were used to improve compaction, hardness, and decomposition conditions of the plate. The toxicity of the material was tested by means of skin tests and the biodegradability by decreasing the weight of the plate. The results show that the materials used do not present any level of toxicity, the optimal composition of raw material is found in treatment 5 with a better consistency and plasticity, but it was not possible to have the desired shape of the plate and finally treatment 6 offered better conditions for the presence of decomposing microorganisms that facilitated the acceleration of the biodegradability process. Screening of the raw material is recommended to promote particle binding and the use of industrial waste to avoid interfering with the food chain and to give a new life to the waste.
