Итог: | This research was carried out in the Aguas Blancas Campus, Aguas Claras Sector, belonging to the canton of Valencia, to analyze the effects of the application of a biological fungicide in comparison with a chemical fungicide, for the control of the black ear disease in the cocoa cultivation. The following objectives were proposed: Determine the fungicide that shows the best results in the control of the black pod in cocoa cultivation, analyze the effectiveness of fungicides in the control of the black pod, and perform an economic analysis on the costs for control of the illness. The experimental design used is a Completely Random Design, with three treatments and four repetitions, the treatments under study consisted of the application of fungicides: Biological based on phototropic bacteria, a chemical fungicide with copper sulfate as active ingredient and a control. absolute. The following variables were studied: ears by treatments, tree yield, healthy fruit yield and diseased fruit yield. The results obtained were: The tree with the highest number of healthy ears presented the treatment with phototrophic bacteria with 2.49, 2.96 and 3.23 fruits at 30, 45 and 60 days respectively. The lowest average number of diseased ears was recorded with the application of phototrophic bacteria with results of 2.14, 2.96 and 3.23 diseased ears at all ages. |
