| Zusammenfassung: | This research project is based on infectious and parasitic agents that have been presented in the cattle production in the province of Chimborazo, in such a way that this information is useful for those who have cattle in the sector and thus give the respective importance to prevalent cases to prevent diseases that can affect the productivity. For the execution of the project took into account infectious diseases reported in the province during the period 2010-2015, as well as also the stocking in the Riobamba canton, this rose information with actual data provided by Government institutions. Like (AGROCALIDAD, MAG), on the current situation of the prevalence of infectious diseases in cattle in the province of Chimborazo, resulting in reports of the OIE of brucellosis in 2015 with a number of 531 cattle of which 100% were susceptible, of which 14 cattle represents the 2.63% were sacrificed, also studies on prevalence of brucellosis in three provinces of the country between 2011 and 2014 where brucellosis prevalence is less than 1%. Public entities there is information with data of prevalent parasites affecting cattle are collected 200 samples of feces of cattle backyard of the parish Cubijies canton Riobamba which were analyzed at the laboratory of the career of Veterinary medicine using technique of flotation, the stool tests results were tabulated resulting haemonchus with 36%; then have to oesofagostoma with 24%; followed by coopeira Dictyocaulus with 18%; followed by coccidial with 10%, and finally have to toxocara vilotorum, tricostrongilido with 6% each. |
