Caracterización de la producción de leche en la parroquia Cusubamba para conocer su tradición.

The objective of the research was to characterize the milk production in the Cusubamba parish, with a sample of 100 milk producers in the sector. The information was obtained through two surveys and a registration table, making a direct visit to the place where the producer is, obtaining the information directly from the source. The dairy cattle tenure in the sector was characterized, the characteristics of milk production were evaluated and the kind of pasture available in the community was determined. The analysis of the results includes tables and graphs that express the data obtained from the investigation. Within the characterization of dairy cattle tenure, it was observed that the majority of people are adults, 87% have reached primary school in their degree of education, 99% of the properties are small and range from 1 to 5 hectares, they do not innovate in the way they care for their animals and continue to carry out this process in a traditional way. Regarding the evaluation of milk production, 100% of the producers sell the liter of milk at 0.37 cents, 0% of the producers know about good milking practices, because they do not change their attitude as for producing quality milk, they prefer to deliver the milk to intermediaries at a lower price. The class of pastures available to the community were determined, the access roads to their lands are third-order, 57% of producers feed their animals with natural grass and 43% have introduced other types of pastures such as Ray Grass, Blue Grass, Alfalfa. An average of 8.05 animals was obtained for each producer.
