“Análisis y evaluación de la rentabilidad financiera del sector de limpieza de hogares y oficinas en las provincias pertenecientes a la zona 3, periodo 2022”

In this research project, companies in the tertiary sector that offer home and office services belonging to zone 3 are analyzed. The research is justified due to the notable increase in the economy from the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused a significant increase in its profitability. Financial analysis interprets accounting information which allows knowing and diagnosing the situation they are in to facilitate decision making regarding the economic situation presented by each of the companies, which is why it is important that all companies carry out this study. since it determines the profitability itself, which is reflected based on the utility or profit of the business, while the indicators measure the success they will have in the future. In addition, a quantitative approach is used due to the study of the financial statements and income statements, and bibliographic research because it is investigated in different web pages or books, in addition to descriptive research since it allows us to know if the services provided by companies are or unprofitable, on the other hand, the database was obtained from the website of the Superintendency of Companies where a population of 21 companies is shown, and convenience sampling was used giving a total of 8 companies of which 3 belong to Cotopaxi , 3 Tungurahua and 2 Chimborazo, which are evaluated through analyzes and indicators in order to reveal whether the cleaning services sector is profitable and thus have a better point of view when investing in the business. Finally, the result is that 2 companies from Cotopaxi, 1 from Chimborazo and 1 from Tungurahua are profitable since they have an internal rate of return of 99%, 114%, 45% and 156%, which are higher than the minimum acceptable rate. of return (TMAR) established which is 28.65%.
