| Achoimre: | This research aimed the implementation of a system of moisture control at a hothouse from Salache Campus to the germination process was carried out to control humidity parameters depending on the sort of seed that is likely to be grown. System automation was executed through compilation of information coming from soil moisture sensors which were set on salvers of germination inside the hothouse. These sensors register a relative humidity in the soil and get through a comparative process based on data entered by the user to close or open electrically-operated valves and water pump. The system is made up of three electricallyoperated valves that are distributed for each row and a 1Hp pump working under 40 Psi pressure. All of this leads to a nebulization process that reduces considerably the use of water as an irrigation system to optimize harvesting produce since seeds under germination process will always keep constant humidity that is required to successful development. The impact caused by the implementation of this moisture control system will be quite great both for students and the agricultural sector from the surroundings because it will be the first project of this kind being launched at the “U d d Té d C p x ” to support research and guarantee higher income as compared to previous one through a conventional irrigation system that brings up reliability to it. |
