Samenvatting:The purpose of the research project is to know the different contexts in which children are located from the point of view of the media and society, to analyze the influence of the TV Elite programs, which transmits in its different schedules something to the children's audience, if they meet their needs or require a new segment of programming dedicated to children, with content that contribute to their personal and educational development. Taking into account the influence of the Organic Law of Communication, within the regulation of television programs at national and local level, this is a key point in reference to how Élite TV works in the transmission of the different segments (news, interviews, movies, advertising). Another important point is education, because it derives the most representative aspects in children's lives, taking into account that they spend more time in their institution, than in their home and is there where they demonstrate the different actions or attitudes that they demonstrate both the family environment and the one you observe on the screen. The methodology to be used is qualitative and quantitative, since both will collect the information that is needed to support the research, specifically going from the inductive to the deductive and vice versa. The survey: it is a research instrument to obtain information by asking the individuals that are object of study through a questionnaire. The media, especially television, must give importance to the needs that children have against their content, strengthening the quality of their segments.
