Summary:The feasibility study as an initial tool to determine the viability of implementing a new project and thus be able to make an investment decision that is why this research entitled "Feasibility Study for the Creation of a yogurt powder production company in the Canton La Maná" was developed. The information was collected through documentary, descriptive, explanatory and analytical, synthetic, and deductive methods. A field research was also used to collect direct data from the citizens of La Maná, canton, and bibliographic research for the real support of the theoretical information for their respective analysis, reflecting as a result that the study market conducted the application of surveys to 397 people in the canton of La Maná, where 50. 75% feel the need to consume yogurt. The market of study also obtained a projected supply of competition of 480,931 bags of yogurt powder of 1000 grams, as well as the demand of 4,670,954 units creating with this a future unsatisfied demand of 3,190,022. The technical study let to determine an investment value for the new project of yogurt powder of $125,637.45, value distributed in the different areas of the project, in the administrative area $3,364.38; for the financial and commercial area with the same amount of investment $1,684. 69, the largest amount of investment is in the production area for a total value of $ 102,154.69, since the financial study determined that the project would sell 1,435,510 bags of yogurt powder of 1000 grams at a selling price of $ 0. 73 cents, generating an income of $ 1,044,722.29. The first year after workers and taxes payment the profit would be $ 96,238.26, the cash flow of the project for the first year is $ 97,599.85, the net present value of the investment is calculated at $ 402,745.89 by taking into consideration the cash flows calculation for the 5 years of the project, so the internal rate of return IRR is 95% which guarantees a return on investment in 1 year, 6 months, and 18 days.
