Zusammenfassung:The main objective of this study work was to determine how the Storytelling strategy improves writing and reading skills in the English language, this research was carried out through quantitative and non-experimental research so that the level of the research was descriptive and exploratory. . During the period from March 2022 to May 2022, a pre-test and a post-test were applied to 26 tenth-year students of the Angamarca Educational Institution focused on writing and reading, these tests were based on the TALE exam on which served to evaluate the effectiveness of this strategy. During the classroom intervention, ten lesson plans were developed and used, as well as before and after the classroom instruction, analyzes of the collected data were performed. The design of the lesson plans focused on the three steps of the writing process: copying, dictation and spontaneous writing; also, in the three steps of the reading process: reading words, reading texts and reading comprehension.
