Beskrivelse
Summary:This research aims to observe the composition of entomofauna (micro fauna). The research site was in Transect No. 8 part B (pasture) Canton Pujilí, Province Cotopaxi, 2017. Performing the recognition of the study area, taking data with the GPS; As well as its delimitation by dividing the total area of the sector into points, (1ha) located at the coordinates Length: 73 ° 5'4.781 ''S, Latitude: 0 ° 59'16.923''W, and an altitude of 1970 m.s.n.m; The objectives of the project are: To know the diversity and abundance of the entomofauna of the Parish La Esperanza, Canton Pujilí. Applying the trap method, insect samples will be collected, which will be classified and identified in the entomology laboratory of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, using dichotomous keys; For later, to apply measures of conservation of the same. We collected 189 individuals, corresponding to 21 families. Four families are dominant because they have a number equal to or greater than 10 individuals, related to total abundance. The Apidae family was the most numerous reaching 31.75%. The estimated Shannon index in transect number eight, part pasture, is equal to 0.7179, which is interpreted as a sector of abundance and average diversity, it is possible to indicate that all the families have been involved. This information analyzed in the project is the first approximation to the diversity of the entomofauna present in the station analyzed; However, it is recommended to expand the research in relation to the diversity of microfauna in the area.
