Тойм:This research was developed at the La Payita Experimental Center of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, La Maná, with the purpose of evaluating the effect of the application of efficient microorganisms as a complement to organic fertilization in coffee cultivation and as specific objectives: Characterize the parameters of vegetative development of coffee based on organic fertilization, analyze the interactions of efficient microorganisms in relation to the application of edaphic organic fertilizers and determine the costs of coffee production with organic fertilizers and efficient microorganisms. A Completely Random Design was proposed, with five treatments and four repetitions, the treatments were constituted by the interaction of the humus and compost fertilizers with the efficient endomycorrhizae and trichoderma microorganisms, resulting in T1: Trichoderma - humus, T2: Trichodermas - compost , T3: endomycorrhizae - humus, T4: endomycorrhizae - compost and an absolute control. The variables were evaluated: plant height (cm), trunk diameter (cm), leaf perimeter (m), branch length (m) and an analysis of costs per treatment was performed. At the end of the investigation, the following results were obtained: greater plant height at 30 days and 60 days with T3, in 90 days the best treatment was T1: Trichoderma - humus; for the diameter of the trunk, the best results at 30 days presented the application of endomycorrhizae and humus, as well as at 60 days the best treatment was registered with T3, in the 90 days the greatest result was registered T3: endomycorrhizae - humus, the greatest Leaf perimeter was obtained with T3: endomycorrhizae - humus at 30, 60 and 90 days, respectively. For the cost analysis, the control presented lower costs, but expressed low results of vegetative development compared to the other treatments.
