Περίληψη:This project holds an important place in Initial Education since the school dropout is a multi-causal social problem, and it is one of the primordial subjects within the society in which is sought to diminish and to eradicate this phenomenon; so, the general objective was to diagnose the desertion as a phenomenon in the initial education that should receive the children of the Educative Unit Luisa Sayas de Galindo of Latacunga city. The type of methodology used is quantitative and qualitative; it means a mixed method; this research has 40 students as population among boys and girls, 36 parents and two teachers. As a data collection instrument, the survey was applied, and the answers were tabulated to obtain more information on this problem; in addition, to achieve an excellent result, it was necessary to investigate in several bibliographic sources about the subject to get the methodological framework of this investigation, the researcher worked with a small population, so the study is more concrete, thus achieving the eradication and prevention of the leaving early from the school in the Initial Education.
