Summary:The present research project aims to design and build a didactic module for the simulation of an intelligent elevator controlled by a PLC S7-1200 PLC, based on industrial technical applications that allow to establish variables of electrical control for the correct operation of an intelligent elevator. Since its invention, lifting systems are essential for the transportation of people to buildings and the development of vertical lift systems has profoundly affected the architecture and has meant a further evolution of cities, designing models and brands according to each need of necessity. Nowadays, the elevator installers face an increasingly competitive and globalized world, due to the changes that the market experiences. The present research aims to analyze and optimize the control model using automation in the simulation of an intelligent elevator.
