Proceso de gestión documental en el área de archivo del centro de rehabilitación social de Latacunga.

The research seeks to improve the techniques for handling documents, in particular the file in the public and private companies, which many consider as a minor strategy within the information, and lack of rules and laws, based on transparency. The goal is through literature, bibliography review and sustained research; give to social rehabilitation center of Latacunga a system that allows organize records of persons deprived of their liberty, in his criminal trial. It was determined that the research approaches raised in the work are qualitative and quantitative. It was worked with variables specific to each of the objects of study; with interviews and surveys to managers, and staff working in the file area. The results were tabulated for reaching the objective of the field search, the proposals made as a result of the investigations respond to the need of each productive entity object of study which inspires the approach of a document management process to manage and improve the institutional image. The implementation of the templates in Microsoft Excel will prevent the improvisation of information required for the legal process. Avoiding the output for misuse documents.
