The reproductive variables (reproductive indexes, reproductive problems, and veterinary attention) were evaluated. The data obtained were subjected to detailed design, and a comparison of arithmetic means using the INFOSTAT program and the valuation of percentages through EXCEL, comparisons were considered among the districts, and each one of the parameters studied. The results were: age of the first heat 18 months 46%; services by conception 1 service being 55%; type of services by conception (montage / insemination) an artificial insemination 34%; age at first delivery of 2 years 3 months 51%; interval among deliveries greater than 1 year 53%; open day from 1 to 3 months 68%; interval between jealousy from 15 to 25 days 77%; 24% have placental retention; they present dystocic birth 26%; animals that abort 19%; number of abortions per animal 1 abortion 78%; stage in which they abort with 32% in the 2 stage, body condition of 2 36%; feeding base alfalfa, ryegrass, oats and balanced 10%; deworming 95%; vaccination against reproductive diseases 26%; Requirement of veterinarian 60%. It is evident that the reproductive parameters of the mestizo cattle at Mulaló Parish are inefficient with the optimal reproductive parameters in cattle. |

Se aplicó la encuesta a 100 propietarios de ganado bovino mestizo, considerando los datos generales en el comportamiento reproductivo en la ganadería de los pequeños y medianos productores de leche, fueron seleccionados 145 bovinos hembras. Se evaluaron las variables reproductivas (índices reproductivos, problemas reproductivos y atención veterinaria) los datos obtenidos fueron sometidos a un diseño descriptivo y una comparación de medias aritméticas mediante el programa INFOSTAT y la valoración de porcentajes mediante EXCEL, se consideró comparaciones entre los Barrios y cada uno de los parámetros estudiados. Los resultados fueron los siguientes: edad del primer celo 18 meses el 46 % ; servicios por concepción 1 servicio siendo el 55%; tipo de servicios por concepción (monta /inseminación) una inseminación artificial el 34%; edad al primer parto de 2 años 3 meses el 51%; intervalo entre partos mayores a 1 año el 53%; días abiertos de 1 a 3 meses el 68%; intervalo ente celos de 15 a 25 días el 77%; presentan retención placentaria el 24%; presentan parto distócico el 26%; animales que abortan el 19%; número de abortos por animal 1 aborto el 78%; etapa en la que abortan con el 32% en la 2 etapa, condición corporal de 2 el 36%; alimentación base alfalfa, raygrass, avena y balanceado el 10%; desparasitación el 95%; vacunación contra enfermedades reproductivas el 26% ; requerimiento de médico veterinario 60%.
