| Samenvatting: | In Ecuador the consumption of tomatoes is increasing because of it´s properties and nutrients that contribute to good physical and mental health; that is why the need to efficiently use these resources is born, eliminating margins of waste and helping the economy of families. The present project is innovative and is part of the change of the productive matrix creating a useful chain when implementing a dehydrating plant of tomatoes that prolong the time of consumption, conserving the chemical and physical properties and keeping the product completely natural free of preservatives with value added. According to the market study the demand for dehydrated kidney tomatoes was identified and in the province Cotopaxi there is a company dedicated exclusively to dehydration; so it is an opportunity to start the project, generating sources of work and improving the quality life Cotopaxi. The technical, economic and financial study determined the optimal location of the plant, infrastructure, requirements and investment of USD $ 96,302 financing 80% contribution of partners, 20% through bank credit; allowing the financial statements to be projected; finally, the financial evaluation was applied to determine the feasibility of the project. |
