Summary:This research project was carried out in Puembo precinct which belongs to Pujilí canton, with the objective of evaluating the production of jalapeño pepper crop (Capsicum annuum) with the application of two organic fertilizers at different doses, under the climatic conditions of Puembo precinct. A completely randomized block design with factorial arrangement (AxB) was used, with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The statistical analysis was based on Tukey's test at 5% of probability. The organic fertilizers applied were poultry litter and bovine manure that were applied manually; the used doses were 1 kg for the medium doses and 2.5 kg for the high doses per square meter. The evaluated variables were: plant height at 15, 30, and 45 days; at harvest, the number of fruits per treatment, fruit diameter, and total weight of fruits per treatment were evaluated. The following results were obtained: the greatest plant height was recorded with the treatment of bovine manure in doses of 2.5 kilograms with 17.10, 32.01, and 64.01 centimeters in the evaluated variable. In the variable number of fruits, the best results were obtained with the poultry litter treatment with 2.5 kg with 43.70 fruits per treatment. For fruit diameter, the best results were obtained with the doses of 2.5 kg of poultry litter with 4.02 centimeters. The greatest fruit length was obtained with the doses of 2.5 kg poultry litter with a value of 9.10. The highest fruit weight was obtained with the poultry litter with the doses of 2.5 kg, with a total weight of 810 grams per treatment.
