إضافة وسم | الملخص: | This research project characterized ecotourism alternatives in La Maná canton, for its development 3 specific objectives were proposed. In the first one, the current situation of the canton was determined and the tourist system was analyzed through a bibliographic review of; research, books, web pages, articles or thesis related to the problem under revision, also surveys to tourists and interviews with public servants involved in tourism development were applied. In the second objective, natural and cultural tourist attractions were inventoried using “Methodology for Hierarchy of Attractions and Generation of Tourist Spaces in Ecuador” created by Tourism Ministry, this methodology allowed to identify 12 tourist attractions in Pucayacu parish, 11 in Guasaganda parish, 9 in La Maná parish, 5 in El Carmen parish, 5 in El Triunfo parish, obtaining a total of 42 tourist attractions in the 5 La Maná canton parishes at Cotopaxi province. Finally, for third objective fulfillment, 2 maps were designed using ICTs, which contain canton location, access roads, rivers, parish headwaters, attractions and ecotourism alternatives. |
