Yhteenveto:The present research project was carried out at Technical University of Cotopaxi in Salache Academic Experimental Center, at Veterinary Medicine career with specific objectives, Determine the zootechnical parameters of the guinea pigs to disseminate the results, evaluate the forage species to promote the demand in the livestock sector, determine the cost benefit of productive performance in guinea pigs to avoid economic losses. To carry out the present investigation, it began with the preparation of the soil. Once prepared, it sowed the legume, such as alfalfa, and in Gramínea the chicory, the forage mixture, the alfalfa with the chicory, constantly checking its development and a very important thing by watering the water constantly to obtain good results at the development of the forage in less time possible in order to cut the forage at the optimum stage for feeding the animals.
