Tóm tắt:The purpose of this research is to determine the initial phenological phases of the Lupine crop (Guaranguito and Andino Varieties) and its physiological time measured in thermal units. The research project was carried out at the CEASA Campus in the Eloy Alfaro parish, Cantón Latacunga, 2021. The objectives of this study were: Describe the development of the varieties under study through morphological variables until floral induction and determine the units’ thermals in Lupine varieties in their initial phenological phases of the crop. The morphological indicators evaluated were: germination percentage, plant height, number of true leaves and percentage of inflorescences. Data was collected from day 8 after sowing, until reaching day 95, for the percentage of germination data was collected from day 8, until reaching 100% of germinated plants, in the same way for the Plant height and number of true leaves, data was taken from day 15 after sowing until day 90, for the inflorescence percentage, data was taken from day 65 until reaching day 81. For the calculation of degree days of development, temperature data was taken from the CEASA Campus meteorological station, with a frequency of 3 times a day. The results of this study revealed that the varieties in all morphological indicators presented different results, since the INIAP 450 variety obtained a higher germination percentage on day 11 with 91.25% compared to Guaranguito, the Guaranguito variety in plant height reached the highest average with 114.41cm, in the same way this variety achieved the highest average number of true leaves with 34.64 and for percentage of flowering INIAP 450 reached the highest value with 95% of flowering on day 81.
