Streszczenie:In the recent years, the number of bookstores and stationery stores in La Maná canton has decreased and currently there are 61 entities where 90 workers work. The problem refers to the lack of knowledge about the aspects of the environmental work that affect the satisfaction of the employees. For that reason, the general objective was to determine the factors of the environmental work and the satisfaction of the employees. The types of research used were: descriptive, bibliographic, field, correlational; and logical, deductive, analytical and synthetic historical methods which were supported by 90 workers from bookstores and stationery stores. The data was processed and it allowed establishing more significant relations: relation [1], incentives that were linked to development and growth with 0.974, it was considered a strong positive relation; while relation [2], motivation versus security presented the correlation of 0.962 qualified as a strong positive relation; the relation [3], equality with the working schedule with 0.957 was a strong positive correlation; and the relation [4], making reference between recognition versus incentives presented a correlation of 0.967 and was qualified as a strong positive relation. It was concluded that the factors of the environmental work affect the satisfaction of the workers due to some factors such as communication, motivation, incentives, knowledge – professionalism, and equality. According to the obtained results, a prevention plan was designed that directly influences the well-being of workers, so improving synergy at work to achieve an adequate performance that will help to improve the quality of life of workers in bookstores and stationery stores.
