Análisis de la incidencia de las salvaguardias en el sector atomotriz en las concesionarias de la ciudad de Latacunga en los años 2014 y 2015

The research project had as objective to analyze the impact of safeguards on the concessionaires of Latacunga canton, Kia Motors, Chevrolet, Hyundai and Ford, after the application of this tax. For the execution of the study, it was indispensable to get information through the use of the field research methodology, in which the survey and the interview with their respective instruments were used as the interview questionnaire and guide; they allowed to collect information for the fulfillment of the proposed objective. The main conclusions of this investigation were that the managers feel dissatisfied, since the safeguards have generated inconveniences at the commercialization of spare parts and vehicles, the application of this tax caused a social and economic impact in the concessionaries studied, due to the reduction of sales and customers, limitation of quotas and in the case of the concessionaire Kía, where the, one only option was the reduction of staff; Therefore, the investigation showed that the implementation of the safeguards affected notably the concessionaires of the Latacunga canton.
