Summary:This research project aims to determine the perception of the "Wawa Kuna Tv" program in the child population in Latacunga canton, taking into account that it is the only educational program in the province of Cotopaxi transmitted by Tv Micc Canal 47. The reason by what it is applied the qualitative methodology that consisted in: In-depth interview directed to Lilia Cofre, Director and Presenter of the program to know the structure of the segment, technique of the drawing applied to the children of the seventh year of basic education of the "Ana Páez”, Educational Unit in order to establish the level of acceptance of the Wawa Kuna TV program, by the infants through the presentation of a pre-recorded program of Wawa Kuna TV, a discussion group with the children participants of the program and its presenter to analyze the interaction, observation sheets applied in the live broadcast of program Wawa Kuna TV for a period of one week and thus observe the performance of the children within the segment , identifying the mechanisms used by the program for the participation of infants. Between the main conclusions, the education stands out as the central axis of Wawa Kuna Tv, it concerned about the knowledge of children in different school and humanitarian issues, the program proves to be a link between society and education, using the television as a means of entertainment, fun and learning.
