Shrnutí: | The present research has the general objective of applying the “5S” methodology, through the identification of processes, for the continuous improvement of HOSPITAL BASICO “SERMES”. Nowadays, competitiveness, resource optimization, demand for efficient and quality businesses, are some of the essential factors for organizations to seek recognition and prestige at the local and national level, hence, it is necessary and essential to seek improvements continuous in the processes. In the research, the inductive, field and descriptive methodology has been used in order to obtain the diagnosis of the processes, the activities were evidenced and the description of each process was obtained, in order to get the general and real idea of the operation and organization. The instruments applied as bibliographic sources, checklist, direct observation, interview, have made it possible to detect problems that impeded the efficient development of processes, lowering the quality of the services offered. The application of Lean Manufacturing tools guides towards continuous improvement in order to achieve organizational change, in the research project it is applied to create activities and work processes in which speed in the customer´s response capacity and vision. As a conclusion, the current situation of the Hospital Básico “SERMES” has been identified; the different processes were analyzed through the application of the 5S tool and thus the necessary knowledge was obtained for the elaboration of the implementation proposal for the improvement of activities, safety jobs and end costumers’ satisfaction. In addition, the 5S tool has a minimal implementation cost compared to the results that are expected to be achieved in the long term. |
