Izvleček:The research work was developed in the high school " Once de Noviembre" in the area of mathematics, the research that was carried out had as a problem: How does dyscalculia affect the learning of mathematics in the students of the school "Once de Noviembre"? Therefore, in order to find a solution to this problem, the general objective was formulated as follows: To establish the incidence of dyscalculia in the learning of Mathematics, applying a methodological strategy, which contributes to the academic performance of the students of the "Once de Noviembre" School. Due to the characteristic of the research, the methodology of the mixed approach was used, with applied modality and the types of research were used: scientific, field, bibliographic or documentary, in addition to the deductive, inductive, descriptive methods, techniques such as: direct observation, interview, survey, P.N.I. technique (Positive, Negative and interesting), criteria of specialists and users, socialization workshop with users, with the information obtained allowed the development of the research that led to the following conclusions: The background, statistics and records found served as a basis of support for the realization of this work. By establishing the problematic situation generated by dyscalculia in the learning of Mathematics, it was evidenced in the database and in the records of grades of the school year 2019-2020, where it reflected the learning difficulties due to the incidence of dyscalculia.
