Тойм:The problem that includes young university students admitted an exhaustive study, this problem has not been studied in depth from the communicational field. In this virtue, this project aims to determine the correspondence between the online interaction processes that are generated in Facebook with the offline interaction processes that occur in the classrooms among young people of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, starting from the massive use by of the students that give to the social network. The methodological strategy that was implemented acquired a quantitative approach, using the technique of the survey, in which 4 groups of students from the fifth and sixth semester parallels of the Social Communication career participated, who responded directly to the questions that were raised. in the survey. Among the results that have the highest incidence are the education, friendship and romance that are part of the daily life of the students, these spaces are framed by the need to link with the other actors; who are part of higher education in their classrooms and in the same way create a positive correspondence between the factors that are exposed inside and outside the social network, helping the creation and acceptance among individuals of the same stratum or of different systematic strata that they have to do with communication. It is also pointed out that the communication generated between both spaces contributes to generate an interest in the brevity of the insertion of various topics within their own environment, regardless of the time or space in which it begins, leaving aside the formality of the correspondence between online and offline processes. Among the main conclusions, it is mentioned that the role of teachers in the generation of new strategies is preponderant for a better conception of the communicational spaces that young university students use in their environment.
