Evaluación del sistema de investigación de la carrera de ingeniería agronómica de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi para optimizar su formación profesional y propuesta de un sistema alternativo.

The transformative spirit of this study addresses one of the fundamental aspects of higher education such as the Research System in the Agricultural Engineering career and its efficiency in the process of students training, which corresponds to the modality of feasible project, since it is based on bibliographic and field research and leads to a proposal for intervention by an alternative system of strategic partnership between the university research system and private Enterprise; the investigated population was 146 people, sample corresponding to university authorities, teachers, researchers, students, and private entrepreneurs in the province related to agricultural area; the theoretical framework includes topics such as teaching, research system, professional training and connection; the general objective of the study is to identify the potential and limitations of the Research System in the Agricultural Engineering Career of C.T.U., after reaching a proposal to create an alternative system of research, its significance, structure and strategies; the fundamental hypothesis indicates that more than 60% of students of Agricultural Engineering at the Cotopaxi Technical University believes that the creation of a new research system for proper professional training is necessary, thanks to this, the beneficiaries will be the research community of CTU, university teachers, students who have a real academic training and practice, the private company that will benefit from the technical and obtained scientific advances, the provincial community for its development and the country in general by the transformation and management efficiency that requires..
