Beskrivelse
Summary:The present researching project was carried out in the optimization of the wastewater treatment plant at “Maltería Plaza" Mall, which refers to the determination of pollution levels and the quality of the discharge water to the sewage system. The purpose of the research was to design a treatment plant for wastewater from the food court of the Shopping Center. This project was developed at the field and laboratory level where work tools and laboratory equipment were used. Sampling was carried out during a day where simple samples were taken at different time intervals during 8 hours for the flow measurement per day, a simple sample was obtained for the determination of the physical, chemical parameters and jar test, this served to be able to apply the optimal dose and improve the quality of wastewater and comply with the maximum permissible limits of the different study parameters. The jar test was carried out in 4 500-mL containers at different doses, obtaining 3 homogeneous samples from the 4, since in the second container 2.5 mL of PAC was placed, third, 3.5 mL of PAC was placed, 4.5 mL of PAC was placed in the room and 1 mL of PAC was placed in the first container, obtaining as a result that in the first sample the flocs were not sediment or the water clarified, meanwhile in the second, third and Fourth, it was observed that these samples are homogeneous, of which the concentration of 2.5 Ml of PAC was determined the optimum dose to be applied in the wastewater treatment plant of the Mall "Maltería Plaza". A proposal to improve the treatment plant was entrusted with the following processes: (pretreatment, primary treatment and secondary treatment) based on the data obtained in the field and laboratory.
