It was held in Latacunga in 20 female dogs of different races and age with the presence of jealousy in which the five proposed methods are applied, such as: laboratory tests, observation of the physical changes, the percentage of superficial cells, formation of ferns and display folds to determine estrus. Pap smear stains dying her with Diff-Quik were used; the cytological diagnosis was based on the count of superficial cells to obtain the percentage of the same.
