| Summary: | The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy (MEER), together with all regulatory organizations have normalized the electricity distribution companies of this country to provide a quality electricity service, taking into account that in the future, through the Efficient Cooking Program, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be replaced by electricity to cook in the residential sector, using high efficiency induction cookers, and the entry of new users into the service is necessary to ensure that the electrical infrastructure in electric lines and transformers have sufficient capacity to receive the new electric charge. Therefore, the present research project was developed based on the analysis of the Pujilí Centro-Alpamalag 10PJ13B1S2 Feeder that belongs to Cotopaxi Electric Company S.A. It started with the data collection which detailed the number of transformers with their individual capacity and the users that there were in that feeder. That information was provided by the Department of Information Centers for Technical Studies (CIETEC) from ELEPCO SA, based on the Electrification Master Plan, it was done the projection of the demand from 2017 to 2026, using data of the previous ten years with the linear regression method. Using the consumption data entered in the CYMDIST software, the current situation of the feeder was determined, and the data obtained from the projected demand were then entered with induction stoves to determine the correction alternatives in three stages of analysis until the year 2026. That is why the technical and economic proposals were presented that improved the electrical parameters in the feeder. |
