Research methodologies were used such as surveys. They were applied with Engineering School students and Commercial specialist teachers in administrative subject at Technical University of Cotopaxi. Bibliographic and documentary research has allowed different approaches and theories of several authors to support investigation which was also applied. In addition, information directly obtained through observation, which it allowed to determine the current problems. It concludes that people do not have extensive knowledge about new technologies day by day. They are changing in the social environment. |

They are changing in the social environment.El presente trabajo investigativo fue elaborado con la finalidad de crear una guía del usuario y un caso práctico del Software de Simulación @RISK utilizando el método Monte Carlo, considerando su importancia dentro del ámbito empresarial. A nivel nacional la mayoría de las empresas no cuentan con herramientas de análisis de riesgos que permitan realizar una modelación en diversos escenarios dentro de las áreas financieras la misma que ayude para la toma de decisiones. Las metodologías de investigación que se utilizaron fueron las encuestas dirigidas a los estudiantes de la Carrera de Ingeniería Comercial y docentes especializados en la temática administrativa de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi. También se aplicó la investigación bibliográfica- documental el cual permitió tener diversos enfoques y teorías de varios autores para sustentar la investigación.
