Evaluación de parámetros productivos con base en el aprovechamiento de pastos naturales en el sistema bovinos de lechería en Cotopaxi

The present investigation was carried out in the Potrerillos Community, Belisario Quevedo Parish, Latacunga Canton, Cotopaxi Province located at an altitude of 3202 meters above sea level with a latitude 0 ° 58'31.773 ”S and longitude 78 ° 33'2.514” W, where it was determined the soil and pasture component for dairy cattle, taking into account the interaction of the availability of nutrients present both in the soil and in the pasture that affect the productive efficiency in relation to the feeding of the productive system, establishing the general productive parameters of the animals during the regulation of mineral interaction by weighing to compare their nutritional status, in addition the BUN was determined before and after mineral correction by laboratory to establish its variation, finally an annual fertilization schedule was established through the characteristics of the environment to improve management soil - grass. A methodology based on direct observation and experimental work was used. For the development of the research began with the observation of animals under study and the pasts intended for them, after which samples were taken from both soils and pastures to be sent to the laboratory and obtain their results. As a means of control of productive parameters, biweekly weights were taken and two analyzes of blood urea nitrogen were carried out to verify the levels before and after fertilization. It is determined that by having an adequate treatment in the pastures, the levels of productive parameters can be maintained within the estimated standards for the category of heifers belonging to the investigation, such as 0.72 kg per day.
