| Özet: | This research investigates how to use collaborative work in the classroom to help the process of learning of students of the School of Basic Education of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. The overall objective is to improve the teaching and learning process through the design of a tutorial regarding the collaborative work. It was formulated as a hypothesis if the collaborative work in the classroom teaching conditions facilitates student learning career. Subsequently, a field investigation techniques and data collection instruments applied to teachers and students of the race to diagnose the current situation was conducted. The results show that collaborative learning is positively regarded by students and teachers because it provides great benefits to learning and academic performance and allows for better adaptation and social integration.
